Dorrilan is a curious Acacia who loves to explore dark and unknown places. That typically means caves, but it's not uncommon to find them sculking about a forest at night. They even use their bioluminescence to save on lantern fuel, as well as to guide his Puptual in the dark. Despite that hobby, he doesn't come across as unfriendly, just awkward. He prefers the company of a Puptual, since it means less talking. He's not great with his words, but holds endless curiosity for the world around him.
